<br />
Hello my Beloved Cakettes!!!<br />
<br />
It's been a while since I last posted something, but life has been so busy... I can't even believe We're already at the end of March.. Wow, where does the time go? <br />
<br />
Anyway... Today's post is a very exciting one!!! I have recently found out about a super fun challenge that Tim Holtz is Hosting. That's right!!! Our Favorite man crafter Tim Holtz is hosting an awesome challenge on his blog, you can find the challenge here <span style="color: #b45f06;"><b><span style="font-size: large;"> → </span></b></span> <span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"><a href="http://timholtz.com/tattered-floral-challenge/" target="_blank">Tim Holtz Tattered Floral Challenge.</a></span></span><br />
<br />
So the challenge was to create a project using Tim Holtz's Tattered Florals Die, and seen as it's one of my all time favorite dies, I decided to join in the fun, and create a project with my own little twist.<br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: small;"> H</span>ere's a picture of what I have made as my Project entry. It's a Shabby Chic, Slightly grudged up Canvas bag.<br />
<br />
This has to be one of my favourite projects I have created to date.. It's so pretty, I think I'm in love... <span style="font-size: large;"><span style="color: red;">♥</span></span><br />
<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj96wGbwcT1PNOoI0rv2bo-EP-JLlrheXksSZTE4pxyACZLKvmXQXT-bR81q9dipmC2TTcSL-PZzR2hi_fqC3MiDHCKDlX-2dwuK0GQIi5nv3haO8W2zZBBVX4X5Dun11K84hD7ePUvM1l5/s1600/Bag.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj96wGbwcT1PNOoI0rv2bo-EP-JLlrheXksSZTE4pxyACZLKvmXQXT-bR81q9dipmC2TTcSL-PZzR2hi_fqC3MiDHCKDlX-2dwuK0GQIi5nv3haO8W2zZBBVX4X5Dun11K84hD7ePUvM1l5/s400/Bag.jpg" width="400" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">The Image in the center is a little shine due to the flash, but isn't it Oh so Lovely?</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
I'm a very visual person and I just love to be able to see pictures when I read a tutorial, so I've tried to take as many pictures as I could, and I will write this post in Tutorial form, that way, if you guys are inspired, you can easily replicate any of the steps. Enjoy.. :)<br />
<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">So I started off with a blank canvas bag and an A4 Sheet of pattern paper, to which I had printed the Eiffel Tower image, which I'm proud to say, is a picture I have taken myself when visiting Paris a few years back. I've also used some Mod Podge to transfer the image to my bag.</td></tr>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Next I used my Tattered Florals Die, and some scraps of fabric cut into strips. I really wanted to use this die in a different way, so I had this idea of creating a trim from the flowers.. and here's how I've done that.. </td></tr>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">I've taken a stripe of the fabric, folded it multiple times, placed it over only one of the petals on the largest flower from the die.<br />

I run it through my die cutting machine, and Voilà!!! I now have a tattered trim!!! :)</td></tr>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">But, for this project, I am going to be using the larger petal trim. I decided to stamp directly on to the fabric, so I used the script stamp from Tim Holtz Urban Grunge Clear Stamps Set, and Vintage Photo Distress ink.<br />
After stamping on all of the petals, I used a running stitch to gather the trim, creating a ruffled effect.</td></tr>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Then I added some lace below the gathered trim, (or tattered trim, I think that's what I will call it) and then I layered them above the image on my bag.<br />
I did stitch them in place. I wouldn't want them falling off whilst I'm out shopping!!! :)</td></tr>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Next, I used some pink seam binding to wrap the ends of the strap, I did that on all four ends, and then I cut out two pieces of the same size, I chose pink and beige, I then tied these to one of the ends. This will just dangle down giving a lovely floaty effect..</td></tr>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Now, one of my favourite parts of the project, which is making some flowers.. I had a lot of this beige coloured satin fabric, so I decided to use it.<br />
I kept a large piece in it's original colour, and I decided to die another large piece. Using Ranger's Mist Spray Bottle, little bit of water and Spun Sugar Tim Holtz Distress reinker, I sprayed the fabric and allowed it to dry.<br />
Then, I die cut the pieces with the Tattered Florals die. For the largest petals, I used a candle to lightly burn the edges, this will give a very textured and grungy look to the flowers later on..</td></tr>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">I have also used some scraps of white fabric I had, colored it with Shabby Shutters Distress Stain, and die cut it with the Tattered Florals die, the nine petal flower, I used as leaves for one of the flowers I made.</td></tr>

<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Then I decided to make some green flowers too, so I took another piece of the satin, and using my spray bottle, some water and forest moss distress ink reinker, I died it, and die cut with the tattered florals die. <br />
Once again, I used a candle for the larger flowers. I really love the way the ink stained some parts of the fabric more than others..<br />
I think that, the uneven look might have had something to do with drying the fabric over a radiator, but I really like how it turned out.</td></tr>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">And here you can see some of the flowers I made. I decided to make different looking flowers with the different petals.. For the first and second pictures, I've used the second smallest flower from the die to make two types of flowers, and for the other two flowers, I've used the larger petals..<br />
Don't they look gorgeous? Even if I say so myself.. :)<br />
This is the reason I love this die so much, it's so versatile.. </td></tr>

<br />
<br />
I thought I'd show you guys a couple of other ideas on how to use the re-positionable flowers..<br />
<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjr_cJXfjILiNU-JaJm6cnPo1SW8Q2atWodiJxftnxnFxL71axb-ydTPeI2lCOc-lFaunuCPRpXZra1wRtMVwNPg1cUXYAovxBPmSqnMpXV84IfjFfkcBBH2Z6Rj2TYlVe_iRUF3zS5G65Y/s1600/Jacket.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjr_cJXfjILiNU-JaJm6cnPo1SW8Q2atWodiJxftnxnFxL71axb-ydTPeI2lCOc-lFaunuCPRpXZra1wRtMVwNPg1cUXYAovxBPmSqnMpXV84IfjFfkcBBH2Z6Rj2TYlVe_iRUF3zS5G65Y/s400/Jacket.jpg" width="400" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">So the first suggestion is to pin it to a jacket or coat, great idea if you like to be unique and stand out from the crowd, and the best thing is, it's totally personalized and no one else will have one like it.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
<br />
Second suggestion,two words: Hair Accessory. I love making my own hair accessories, and these ones turned out beautiful!!! <br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhemH0AA3ZLZM2x9TktUlGaIqZmz57KxPTChtuaJHULVaGZUKywaN2iW9wsCX4ZGK3ARpzXy14P4eYKBVr0QrnFLAckGWvrRDD1TxSQxzwQ90w2BgEwHZ5IyT5ZDXRGfJ6bZ_l5tlxDkLwM/s1600/Hair.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhemH0AA3ZLZM2x9TktUlGaIqZmz57KxPTChtuaJHULVaGZUKywaN2iW9wsCX4ZGK3ARpzXy14P4eYKBVr0QrnFLAckGWvrRDD1TxSQxzwQ90w2BgEwHZ5IyT5ZDXRGfJ6bZ_l5tlxDkLwM/s400/Hair.jpg" width="400" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Remember the brooch pin I glued to the back? Well that can easily be clipped on to a snap hair clip. Or alternatively, you could simply glue the flower directly on to the clip, you won't be able to pin it to a jacket or a bag, but if hair accessory is what you're looking for, then go for it! :)</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

<br />
<br />
Now, just as an extra added Bonus, I decided to come up with a couple more ideas to use the tattered trim I die cut. And well, there's a million and one things you can make using these, but, I have made two quick, easy and very cute projects.. The first is this masculine gift box.<br />

Last, but not least, I added a little tag, and one of the beautiful flowers I made earlier, and Voilà, an Adorable Easter gift!!!</td></tr>

Hello Cakettes,</div>
<br />
So it's been a while since I have written my last post, but I wanted to come back before Christmas to share this super quick and easy card tutorial. <br />
So Without any messing around, let's just get into it..<br />

<br />
<br />
Ha Ha, I bet I spooked you!!! No... Just kidding.. I know I'm not that scary... Nor do I want to me.. <br />
<br />
So when I decided to create my very first Halloween Crafts Series, I wanted the projects to be a little spooky, and lots of cute..!!! So no! Nothing too scary.. <br />
<br />
I have just finished filming all of the videos in the series and am currently working on the edit side of things.. So with some help from my favourite energy booster and some sleepless nights I should have some videos ready to go within the next week or so...<br />
<br />
The series have a variety of ideas and ways of turning an "ordinary" treat or gift, into an explosion of "Spooky Cute" projects..<br />
<br />
I really wanted the projects to be simple, easy and straight forward ideas to follow so that everybody would be able to make them with very little supplies and tools... Every project will be a video tutorial and, as always, I will be here should anybody have any doubts / questions... :)<br />
<br />
Now that I have seen everything I made come together, I'm really excited about it and I really hope you guys will love it too!!!!! <br />
<br />
And if you can't wait to see what ideas I have come up with, please don't forget to subscribe to My Youtube Channel <a href="http://www.youtube.com/user/CraftsDotCupCake" target="_blank"> CraftsDotCupCake </a>, so that you can receive automatic updates as soon as I upload any videos..!!!! <br />
<br />
Have a scary day! Wait! No..! That's not right.. Not a Scary day.. a FAB Day.. That's it.. That's what I meant.. ops.. :)CraftsDotCupCakehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03637510545456063987noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2304568901822229003.post-31462938560789780672012-09-18T08:31:00.001-07:002012-09-18T08:36:27.192-07:00Re-Starting on a High...Hey Cakettes,<br />
<br />
So I'm finally back with a new post.. I know.. It's been a little while..<br />
A lot has happened in my life and I have been dealing with it all, so now that things have started to get back to normal I have more time to blog..<br />
And boy did I miss it.. ?! :) <br />
<br />
So anyway.. I am going to kick start my return with some awesomeness... As you all know I am having a giveaway on my Youtube Channel <a href="http://www.youtube.com/user/CraftsDotCupCake" target="_blank"> CraftsDotCupCake</a>, WHAT? You didn't know? Well... You do now..<br />
<br />
So as I was saying, I'm having a giveaway on my Youtube channel, and I kinda noticed that Christmas is less than 100 days away, I KNOW RIGHT? Less than 100 days.. Wow, where does time go? Anyway.. I thought I would theme the giveaway around Christmas, so I have picked stamps, gemstones, embellishments, embossing folders, Ink pad, pattern paper and many more scrapbook supplies revolved around the Christmas theme... <br />
<br />
Basically everything a crafter would need to make cards, mini albums or whatever else the creativity desires..... :) <br />

<br />
Christmas is just around the corner and I really wanted to make a very special card for my beloved husband.. I already knew what collection of papers I was going to use... Since I first saw the "Enchanted Christmas" Collection by PaperMania I was in love.. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwui3_yvy4V-ciedLbu14j0I1hMXT7LqsD5mXFLiuLRD-ktWsltt3RBTW-y2ZeLqgPDUMeJvj33CoyJw1yMuQydPzDeUTZFc5ve7K26VWwsoHjeeHZV1YWkHYvqCkt1mMeKpjqqYL2wt-c/s1600/pma%252520160913l.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwui3_yvy4V-ciedLbu14j0I1hMXT7LqsD5mXFLiuLRD-ktWsltt3RBTW-y2ZeLqgPDUMeJvj33CoyJw1yMuQydPzDeUTZFc5ve7K26VWwsoHjeeHZV1YWkHYvqCkt1mMeKpjqqYL2wt-c/s400/pma%252520160913l.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">As the name suggest, the collection has very "vintage" like images with a fairy tale theme thorughout..</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLge3LMNikzhMju4AV1fTCxdxMOZSkug4NKs4-VOo3GGxq2VMnGCf9BgvrfOAggmNHNVusg5uEIRF0wYBPsFSpVcWZPY28vR_ncTPALVPSKWIgasVxTlQJlp8lqZf2y0-afzwrhw2CWzsV/s1600/0030005_350_.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="398" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLge3LMNikzhMju4AV1fTCxdxMOZSkug4NKs4-VOo3GGxq2VMnGCf9BgvrfOAggmNHNVusg5uEIRF0wYBPsFSpVcWZPY28vR_ncTPALVPSKWIgasVxTlQJlp8lqZf2y0-afzwrhw2CWzsV/s400/0030005_350_.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Images such as this Gorgeous Saint Nicholas is what got my attention.. and I really had to create something with this collection.. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">My sweet sweet husband is the one who bought me the papers, so they did have a special meaning.. Which is why I decided to make hubby's card with them...</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">When I looked at some of the papers, for some strange reason I kept thinking "window".</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> Maybe is because that's what I wish I could see when I look out of my window around christmas time.. But whatever the reason, I knew I wanted "the window" to be my card.. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">And, as we all know, we can't always buy things that we picture in our creative little heads, so once again I have designed a template to match what I imagined... and this is what I have created...</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTNeQbSEx6IZ3vyhrNfThRe_CcYqKFiHb9f6i5ZjNsS_EpOl_jhgAyR8n5aMRaPH-kfblWwSKvSOPchoSDtSIomUdUSS50Naw0lAiri6oPjJte_B42K27dLYyoP-o2vKNm2augNq4ixp42/s1600/window_card_01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTNeQbSEx6IZ3vyhrNfThRe_CcYqKFiHb9f6i5ZjNsS_EpOl_jhgAyR8n5aMRaPH-kfblWwSKvSOPchoSDtSIomUdUSS50Naw0lAiri6oPjJte_B42K27dLYyoP-o2vKNm2augNq4ixp42/s400/window_card_01.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Of course I <u>had</u> to use this santa, the images are die cuts, which is part of the same collection, they come from the decoupage kit. Just gorgeous!!!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">This card is quite large, the final card folded just as you see above measures 7 1/2 inches by 5 1/4, which I found fit perfectly into a C5 / A5 size envelope.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh63d2ALOzuqzaGG4C_c_lBDX3-jdAsj4wGnANUYYDP_ZSpzIeLq6MmohNNHAJBp7NArjRGmEARUNHutbJSIxYCi_reglOwpLY2STmcnnT621hu87BtkVA0X_jwzTttKZfeIMuks6_CBwza/s1600/window_card_02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh63d2ALOzuqzaGG4C_c_lBDX3-jdAsj4wGnANUYYDP_ZSpzIeLq6MmohNNHAJBp7NArjRGmEARUNHutbJSIxYCi_reglOwpLY2STmcnnT621hu87BtkVA0X_jwzTttKZfeIMuks6_CBwza/s400/window_card_02.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">So you probably have noticed already, but this is a trifold card, which means it unfolds into three parts, this is what it looks like when you open the "window". I did add acetate to the window to make it more realistic.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJRVg87h9juHDGetQiA-c8dWou4QyUpaT_ADvBheFTgIHv8AfpFsqlPARh-FyL4YxiwxEvwxh-O0NAUDp3oDo4o0Ci8Ek3I_6G4eXG_j9c5OPt97vHyq6OvW67gPHuY296qtS-BJFiNP9b/s1600/window_card_03.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJRVg87h9juHDGetQiA-c8dWou4QyUpaT_ADvBheFTgIHv8AfpFsqlPARh-FyL4YxiwxEvwxh-O0NAUDp3oDo4o0Ci8Ek3I_6G4eXG_j9c5OPt97vHyq6OvW67gPHuY296qtS-BJFiNP9b/s400/window_card_03.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">And this is what the card looks like inside. I've kept it very plain ready for writing on.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> Because this card was so large, the template comes in two parts, both printed on an A4 size card, onepart is the window, and the other part is for the two other folds, which means the window front must be somehow attatched to the rest of the card. I used two layers to cover up the acetate and also where the card joins..</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Once I was done with this card I decided to altere the tempalte and make a smaller card, and this is the card I have made...</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiSwGoPNCvKmjKKYQG2FR7BiyxJHa7m2NGwYbl-2qnqMC8xqTsmB6sKROrd2oWMJX-FWOd35S6kFaJJ9a0S-R9CcokoLR3YLk_rV9k0uJaQ-_rZqxg_WUU_g0ui_oHZI02h1zwnq5S1n4MP/s1600/xmas_window_card_01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiSwGoPNCvKmjKKYQG2FR7BiyxJHa7m2NGwYbl-2qnqMC8xqTsmB6sKROrd2oWMJX-FWOd35S6kFaJJ9a0S-R9CcokoLR3YLk_rV9k0uJaQ-_rZqxg_WUU_g0ui_oHZI02h1zwnq5S1n4MP/s400/xmas_window_card_01.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">This Fairy and tree are also die cuts from the same decoupage kit. I'm sure it's easy to see why I love this collection so much, all of the images are gorgeous and it was very hard to choose what to use now, I just wanted to make tons of cards so i could use them all!!! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">So this template prints on 1 A4 sheet and the final card is a little smaller, it measures 5 1/2 by 3 1/2 inches, it would fit into a A6 size envelope.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZkUHfl7183TUTu_noGPm14KtMH6LqbODWNY-bnxmB8_eJHDMAaLxScq2FnhpJjVXHUAR7CxT0g-J6rqG9SFGNQHLPu2BfqtkJWXDgE257OOOrK2G0cabBX12Ij6ng9P4y6c3OzsQtGX8c/s1600/xmas_window_card_02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZkUHfl7183TUTu_noGPm14KtMH6LqbODWNY-bnxmB8_eJHDMAaLxScq2FnhpJjVXHUAR7CxT0g-J6rqG9SFGNQHLPu2BfqtkJWXDgE257OOOrK2G0cabBX12Ij6ng9P4y6c3OzsQtGX8c/s400/xmas_window_card_02.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">Imagine, you open your window and that's what you see.. How magical!!!</div><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhnNEAHRqpMQd300a7nLVZaw_-U2peDLHON_ftRpiD_xeZqSxgDQPHdBVM3cq3QUVPzklG9XH3nwFv1w1mpRAkLaSbUkx1cs0VpoD0ZDF2JuhTUPleTN8rR-dXIeatJyFMs2lyOkwMyonfb/s1600/xmas_window_card_03.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhnNEAHRqpMQd300a7nLVZaw_-U2peDLHON_ftRpiD_xeZqSxgDQPHdBVM3cq3QUVPzklG9XH3nwFv1w1mpRAkLaSbUkx1cs0VpoD0ZDF2JuhTUPleTN8rR-dXIeatJyFMs2lyOkwMyonfb/s400/xmas_window_card_03.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Again, very simple on the inside, This time I didn't print an inside layer to cover up the acetate, so if you look close enough you can see the glue that's holding the acetate in place.. Oh well.. it is a handmade card after all and I am not looking for "production line perfection".</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjy3Aoe4MLWDngaCN0eemKd2QXx-f5Ld5atIAHFVEVfUmNe5RElHvcd8VxYT9hNynTOd_00gX5oLPCk-e9IFVdFdqbAh1qarEj3vAz1QFake1MBwR-P4klqsSrzFDx6aMicmc0pdPn-yMP-/s1600/window_card_04.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjy3Aoe4MLWDngaCN0eemKd2QXx-f5Ld5atIAHFVEVfUmNe5RElHvcd8VxYT9hNynTOd_00gX5oLPCk-e9IFVdFdqbAh1qarEj3vAz1QFake1MBwR-P4klqsSrzFDx6aMicmc0pdPn-yMP-/s400/window_card_04.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Here are the two cards together so that you can see the difference in sizes...</div><br />

<br />
This time of the year, everywhere you go, you are constantly reminded that there are only a few weeks until Christmas.. Oh! the stress that comes with it.. All the things you need to do and haven't had the time to get started... Ever felt like that? I think a lot of us would answer yes to that question..<br />
<br />
I definitely feel like that when is getting close to Christmas.. Not only because Christmas is my favourite time of the year, but because i just want everything to be perfect all the time.. I always look for new ways to decorate.. And this year is no different.. <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
So a couple of years ago I saw in a magazine these adorable little square boxes decorated as Santa suit.. I really cannot find the picture from that magazine, but I know there is a lot of inspiration to be found on the web.. Anyway, I was really inspired and decided to make some for my Christmas lunch table... <br />
<br />
If you have seen my Halloween pillow box treat pouch, you might remember that I had designed a pillow box template, so all I had to do was perform some minor alterations to that template and I got myself some mini pillow boxes so that I can decorate for any other occasion....<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
This is how I have decorated mine for Christmas....<br />
<br />
<br />

So Christmas is fast approaching and it's always very helpful to have some stocking filler ideas...<br />
Here's a quick, easy and inexpensive super duper cute idea!!!<br />
<br />
It's a facial towel that looks like a cupcake.. Can you see why I love the idea?? :)<br />
<br />
Anyway, this is not something I have just come up with.. I've actually seen Jonathan Fong (host of Style with a smile) made these a while a go and I just had to make some too!!! <br />
<br />
So Jonathan, a big thanks to you for the inspiration!!! :)<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">So I have made mine in a Christmas theme.. But you can make them in any theme you like..</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

<br />
It's been a while since my last template, but here's another one especially for you!!<br />
<br />
This is just another Christmas project I have created a template for.. It's basically a card with a gift, the gift being the tea candles...<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBnJJfQsahYPeXlEzAXZ6SAES_JqF8XvQlcqBMPk8UL45SY5rfeCzvQiRVHZJuPNnl_MbUdGrhr9z_5Cdd1d7mZ634xW42uGfHHItalRi_gIxLj6IF9qq0FRApxNDPHCJoWmy_u0pYi3Sb/s1600/candle_holder_card_1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBnJJfQsahYPeXlEzAXZ6SAES_JqF8XvQlcqBMPk8UL45SY5rfeCzvQiRVHZJuPNnl_MbUdGrhr9z_5Cdd1d7mZ634xW42uGfHHItalRi_gIxLj6IF9qq0FRApxNDPHCJoWmy_u0pYi3Sb/s400/candle_holder_card_1.jpg" width="400" /> </a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I have made this project quite some time ago, but I have since seen red glittery tea candles, which would have been perfect for this card... Oh well.. Still looks really cute and makes for a super sweet gift..</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3f6Edn1J9ineiTB8ssAhTf1lJO2ld2V4AgY6Yv-pcODSQjwT2cgrgGYYrnRYRl9pTf-f_Mo27UjEWNaQeUWnCE4BTU7yjzm_iU2_F4Fqap_GASaGFm2TlFTfUyCkymrLN4iedljpvyXiE/s1600/candle_holder_card_2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3f6Edn1J9ineiTB8ssAhTf1lJO2ld2V4AgY6Yv-pcODSQjwT2cgrgGYYrnRYRl9pTf-f_Mo27UjEWNaQeUWnCE4BTU7yjzm_iU2_F4Fqap_GASaGFm2TlFTfUyCkymrLN4iedljpvyXiE/s400/candle_holder_card_2.jpg" width="400" /> </a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">To make sure I covered the lines from the template I have made an insert!!!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgE4ZYXG8lrbP50TP2-uFZ-ikm49_gjqxzj_X2itBAIABe6CsQmZgVat7Tb8vXazurhH_fzceeUwNNcWOYZaK5KVB2HwZc2PNk4IuH0PLmmYEeLQlrlJEDpWjUlCUxtj6gH6kdGQMuxslrN/s1600/candle_holder_card_4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgE4ZYXG8lrbP50TP2-uFZ-ikm49_gjqxzj_X2itBAIABe6CsQmZgVat7Tb8vXazurhH_fzceeUwNNcWOYZaK5KVB2HwZc2PNk4IuH0PLmmYEeLQlrlJEDpWjUlCUxtj6gH6kdGQMuxslrN/s400/candle_holder_card_4.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br />

<br />
A couple of years ago, my Christmas tree decoration theme was metallic greens, purples, pinks and blues. Yes I do change the theme every year.. <br />
<br />
Anyway, I wanted tiny little Christmas crackers to match, so I decided to create my own templates so that I could make my own...<br />
<br />
So this is what the crackers looked like...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjKmOXrZyU1zXA8I6mbwspj7ARnQfy89e3frw6_IiLwULCJSsWKDJU-iqXvlxdEEYtofdokahDk3crKkHTCJ67NtiQqIFnQi3zkcRyicd4lwmoPPxW4xods3SNq4DXPf21-r3Xmkzi54qAt/s1600/crackers_2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjKmOXrZyU1zXA8I6mbwspj7ARnQfy89e3frw6_IiLwULCJSsWKDJU-iqXvlxdEEYtofdokahDk3crKkHTCJ67NtiQqIFnQi3zkcRyicd4lwmoPPxW4xods3SNq4DXPf21-r3Xmkzi54qAt/s400/crackers_2.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Okay.. So they are a little bright.. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjl1gRa-5yE6dBXAorhx3bQjGJh-oCWoftdE588cZ6No1XfNgzD_TDp9F1o_cdK3sRus8Bn0wzpZjJmILn5QEyxLd8aT92wFvH7W3H1eMCbeigr8cSfZWkEMMgMghqk4fF-qwVITzpmj1O2/s1600/crackers_3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjl1gRa-5yE6dBXAorhx3bQjGJh-oCWoftdE588cZ6No1XfNgzD_TDp9F1o_cdK3sRus8Bn0wzpZjJmILn5QEyxLd8aT92wFvH7W3H1eMCbeigr8cSfZWkEMMgMghqk4fF-qwVITzpmj1O2/s400/crackers_3.jpg" width="300" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">But it did match my decoration... :)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjilFL9WWF3bFdenrH9MIYur3Yk4OsHi2eldqGAROuh0_MchodyK_sA4uyzMKyNaRb9hXuf9FIDtCF1A_6EmFJP7nPn-GPmHc8TidjH2ClBqbCOk9rQJI0WUpNqmOK__n9w9fYibeqjpQWK/s1600/crackers_1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjilFL9WWF3bFdenrH9MIYur3Yk4OsHi2eldqGAROuh0_MchodyK_sA4uyzMKyNaRb9hXuf9FIDtCF1A_6EmFJP7nPn-GPmHc8TidjH2ClBqbCOk9rQJI0WUpNqmOK__n9w9fYibeqjpQWK/s400/crackers_1.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">And the best part is, you can add whatever you want inside them.. I chose Ferrero Rocher just because they are so yummy!!! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">So this year I have decided to revisit my old template and create these little crackers to decorate my Christmas table... </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Of course I <u>had</u> to use my favourite Christmas paper collection at the moment, the noel collection by Dovecraft.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGK9HxMcSOTAwFjKfoDWuCRQH18mGf51YB9vYTdVbJwK56y4GSsTNgpsSsSZaq66lvqNesoZsLqLEOC7_DKtT0JP-PzEwW5NXZRGdTvudRBB1Eu-ZOWy2AEqKBlgSfmiFfs1evrBVqVh-O/s1600/dcxdp07-dovecraft-12-x-12-premium-paper-glittered-double-sided-pad-noel-3943-p.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="318" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGK9HxMcSOTAwFjKfoDWuCRQH18mGf51YB9vYTdVbJwK56y4GSsTNgpsSsSZaq66lvqNesoZsLqLEOC7_DKtT0JP-PzEwW5NXZRGdTvudRBB1Eu-ZOWy2AEqKBlgSfmiFfs1evrBVqVh-O/s320/dcxdp07-dovecraft-12-x-12-premium-paper-glittered-double-sided-pad-noel-3943-p.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />
I believe this is a collection which was released last year, but I have been in love with it since...<br />
Everything I love about Christmas is in these papers.. From traditional Christmas scenes to snowflakes to vintage looking Santas.. Gotta love it...<br />
<br />
So when I designed the template, I had only designed the hexagonal shaped cracker but this year I have altered my original template so that i can have a traditional rounded cracker too.. So I've ended up with two templates.<br />
<br />
I think this year's Christmas crackers turned out really cute.. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjMacmNLFJzM3qCZkaugUa4GJalPANeisgCEEkoKpRAERyEs2mT50Q0BDMrZ_ciubIpLmiiCJuLB8ZES_dLOV-feO_VwFQLyC2C2KfSkRd1z_mtToWd_gaPW71-PMkjJExoldF-QL7pntin/s1600/hex_cracker1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjMacmNLFJzM3qCZkaugUa4GJalPANeisgCEEkoKpRAERyEs2mT50Q0BDMrZ_ciubIpLmiiCJuLB8ZES_dLOV-feO_VwFQLyC2C2KfSkRd1z_mtToWd_gaPW71-PMkjJExoldF-QL7pntin/s320/hex_cracker1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">So this if the hexagonal shaped cracker, it's the first template I made all of those two years ago.. :)</div><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHasDM8DZJm1vYls8auAgoi3jJsLG1XTwsRq6UTs8z7roWWVH8espAadKPEplXRKip8ZfqTGYKaPbT0RdQSaXZ8dwhnebdLzDrVlJlwaXPP0-88t_ceAe3N7LaCI2cJw7j7FLXuIq-Wws7/s1600/hex_cracker2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHasDM8DZJm1vYls8auAgoi3jJsLG1XTwsRq6UTs8z7roWWVH8espAadKPEplXRKip8ZfqTGYKaPbT0RdQSaXZ8dwhnebdLzDrVlJlwaXPP0-88t_ceAe3N7LaCI2cJw7j7FLXuIq-Wws7/s320/hex_cracker2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">The distressed edges give it more of a vintage look which I thought was perfect for the paper...</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhcnE3hijt8WvWlYBO3m52etGjbToYQxCraCeT0iCr9lrN1WI9Zgkbro40ViTYu1ywE0FnVrBvYbzc7niEMGKZePkdS1rv5qaoty2NjtQ-THP1g512j6MFtqcAFXKP9xST7w5K1ytp-nQu3/s1600/hex_cracker3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhcnE3hijt8WvWlYBO3m52etGjbToYQxCraCeT0iCr9lrN1WI9Zgkbro40ViTYu1ywE0FnVrBvYbzc7niEMGKZePkdS1rv5qaoty2NjtQ-THP1g512j6MFtqcAFXKP9xST7w5K1ytp-nQu3/s320/hex_cracker3.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">The glittery paper also helps with the final look. Love glitter!!! :)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhR0sqQcKt1B5rPM94EwRdyjA8nFXww3hUcyd0qGTQvX4qCjnzTTOE9JPa7a6nEXv0pYITv2XFC9Tg_T6SkyR4VV_xzBmBf95hbvRGQQgu49jk_4SklOYDOKBEPbKrSpcyBCfQJ_shyKV82/s1600/round_xmas_cracker_1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhR0sqQcKt1B5rPM94EwRdyjA8nFXww3hUcyd0qGTQvX4qCjnzTTOE9JPa7a6nEXv0pYITv2XFC9Tg_T6SkyR4VV_xzBmBf95hbvRGQQgu49jk_4SklOYDOKBEPbKrSpcyBCfQJ_shyKV82/s320/round_xmas_cracker_1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">And then of course, the traditional shaped crackers.. Simple rounded shape...</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Still very cute though...</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Snowflakes in a red "christmassy" paper.. Just beautiful....</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

</div><div style="text-align: center;">And of course, the candy cane stripes.. who doesn't love those?</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

</div><div style="text-align: left;">If like me you just love christmas, you probably like to count down the days until this very special time of the year.. So to help me and my husband to do that and have a little treat along the way, I have made us an advent calendar....</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: left;">Of Course if I owned a sewing machine I would probably have done this with fabric, just because it would have been more durable, but for now I think paper will do the job just fine... :)</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: left;">I wanted to be able to add a little treat to each day so this is what I have designed...</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhI_1lp8znsaq9QtpVbYbO-8URR2C2O8sxCtKBaUxtJNy2ZNLLc2tzRlBevwIqzb0lkoebfv2lu2GWPK1N1hCf7cdVIcgsiULM5l4PknheyeIdP5KOZvmNeAF9CvAgxLSJCpdYe469kHvFV/s1600/advent_calendar_01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhI_1lp8znsaq9QtpVbYbO-8URR2C2O8sxCtKBaUxtJNy2ZNLLc2tzRlBevwIqzb0lkoebfv2lu2GWPK1N1hCf7cdVIcgsiULM5l4PknheyeIdP5KOZvmNeAF9CvAgxLSJCpdYe469kHvFV/s400/advent_calendar_01.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I have designed a template for the stockings, it consists of three parts, the stocking itself, the "fold" on top of the stocking and the "pocket".</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> The plan is to have this "rope" of stockings wrapped around a christmas garland and decorate around the room. Right now it is too soon to decorate the house, so I guess I'll have to wait untill I can do that, but I am sure it will look very nice.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhPPAstBZdJjUi6JVdKD7gcng5aOOlB7BMHe5ijAFqGpfzBSVZ7oxqWBXiiSvu_Wp348SDGvzYbRbxWsQ48Tu0q_nBPys2Z2A7y_Wzf2ZvQux3S7tfPoeHLf4b8QFn-mtMHTjkY47Kd1XUT/s1600/advent_calendar_02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhPPAstBZdJjUi6JVdKD7gcng5aOOlB7BMHe5ijAFqGpfzBSVZ7oxqWBXiiSvu_Wp348SDGvzYbRbxWsQ48Tu0q_nBPys2Z2A7y_Wzf2ZvQux3S7tfPoeHLf4b8QFn-mtMHTjkY47Kd1XUT/s400/advent_calendar_02.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I have placed the stockings in an ascending order of numbers, but you could place the numbers randomly which would also be a lot of fun!!!!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiw4fVWq2WNR2PxMOCWXkWrso1KmYp-pRU3JePhQIUoFcALsyr2PslqM1DjKnv-scxRE6MerbM8zytTpxCAQdybqera-yGvHYEuSosaUkkZqoGT0K9uC5vTYPYr-psFQVmD7wlvqhT-qOUy/s1600/advent_calendar_03.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiw4fVWq2WNR2PxMOCWXkWrso1KmYp-pRU3JePhQIUoFcALsyr2PslqM1DjKnv-scxRE6MerbM8zytTpxCAQdybqera-yGvHYEuSosaUkkZqoGT0K9uC5vTYPYr-psFQVmD7wlvqhT-qOUy/s400/advent_calendar_03.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">In the last stocking I wrote XMAS using glitter glue, I just thought it needed extra sparkle as it is the day I look forward to the most through out the year.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhRXS08V3ZrV4SXfkEBPq7qAmS0qsfUZMl_cRqx5-q4g39ZQ8jJlKRW9yzOeAVByuuTJX3qryItzoM2FYUb_PIpppLhmASi7tFuWSOA_v6IrMHNGz3fE8yPTADutKyOgX7iWMqHwCiwGX0c/s1600/advent_calendar_04.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhRXS08V3ZrV4SXfkEBPq7qAmS0qsfUZMl_cRqx5-q4g39ZQ8jJlKRW9yzOeAVByuuTJX3qryItzoM2FYUb_PIpppLhmASi7tFuWSOA_v6IrMHNGz3fE8yPTADutKyOgX7iWMqHwCiwGX0c/s400/advent_calendar_04.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">And of course in this picture you can see that I can fit a small treat in each pocket.. Yum!! :) </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">To be able to do that, I have used a small cellophane bag between the stocking and the "pocket" cover</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I'm pretty sure there are many different ways to do this, you just have to find the one works best for you... </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">So by now you are probably guessing that if a template is involved, then you are probably going to be able to get a copy for free right?</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Well GOOD NEWS!!!!! </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br />

<div style="text-align: left;"> <span style="color: magenta;"><a href="http://www.zibbet.com/craftsdotcupcake" style="color: blue;" target="_blank">http://www.zibbet.com/craftsdotcupcake</a></span></div><br />
You know how shops usually have their sales right after christmas and it makes you wish that you could have bought your presents then..?<br />
<br />
Well, I don't think that's fair.. I believe we should all be able to get great discounts BEFORE Christmas so that we can save some $$$ when we're buying presents...<br />
<br />
And for that reason I have decided to have a Massive sale on my Zibbet Store!!! The sale is a MASSIVE <span style="background-color: yellow; color: red;">20% OFF every single item</span>!!!!<br />
<br />
This sale will be on from now until the end November (2011), The only thing to remember is<span style="color: red;"> stocks are limited</span> so if you like something I suggest you "go and get you some" because <span style="color: red;">when is gone is gone</span>!!!<br />
<br />
You do not need any special codes, the discount is already applied all over the store!!!!<br />
<br />
Enjoy this early christmas present from Me to You!!! :)<br />
<br />
Have a Fab Day!!!<br />

<br />
So yesterday I had published a post about the opening of my store, and the reasons why I chose <span class="J-JK9eJ-PJVNOc" style="background: yellow;">Zibbet</span> and not E<span class="J-JK9eJ-PJVNOc" style="background: yellow;">tsy</span>... It appears I was badly mistaken.. One of my sweet C<span class="J-JK9eJ-PJVNOc" style="background: yellow;">akettes</span> has sent me a message letting me know that E<span class="J-JK9eJ-PJVNOc" style="background: yellow;">sty</span> does have a category for supplies. The category is only for crafting supplies, but it seems I was mistaken and have given you guys the wrong information, so I wanted to rectify it...<br />
<br />
Thanks to my sweet C<span class="J-JK9eJ-PJVNOc" style="background: yellow;">akette</span> for letting me know, and I am sorry for telling you something inaccurate, I obviously did not look "into E<span class="J-JK9eJ-PJVNOc" style="background: yellow;">sty</span>" well enough...<br />
<br />
I am still happy with Z<span class="J-JK9eJ-PJVNOc" style="background: yellow;">ibbet</span> and hope you guys like the choice too.. but if that ever changes I now know that <span class="J-JK9eJ-PJVNOc" style="background: yellow;">Etsy</span> would also be an option.. :)<br />
<br />
Hope you all have a wonderful day.. !!!CraftsDotCupCakehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03637510545456063987noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2304568901822229003.post-52499212817232826952011-10-26T18:36:00.000-07:002011-10-26T18:36:53.921-07:00My Big Announcement and Cupon!!Dear Cakettes,<br />
<br />
Today's post is going to be about my big announcement!! YES!!! My online store is finally open!!! <br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">My Store link is: <span style="color: magenta;"><a href="http://www.zibbet.com/craftsdotcupcake" style="color: blue;" target="_blank">http://www.zibbet.com/craftsdotcupcake</a><br />
<br />
</span></div><br />
I Feel like screaming with excitement!!! :) But I won't.. My windows might not survive... lol<br />
<br />
I chose Zibbet, and if you are wondering why, well.. I haven't really had the time to finish my own website, so I had the choice between esty and zibbet, but when I started looking more into esty, I found out that you're only supposed to sell handmade items on there, and I might have a couple of other things for sale in the future (non-handmade) such as crafts supplies.. So.... I chose zibbet as my understanding is that I can sell handmade items as well as supplies..<br />
<br />
Now, I know you are probably thinking.. "I'm pretty sure I've seen people selling supplies on etsy", well.. those people aren't supposed to, if etsy finds accounts such as these, it's likely they would get closed down.. and I did not want to risk it..<br />
<br />
So Since I have been using Zibbet, I have been really enjoying it.. The site is pretty easy to use and they don't have outrageous fees and charges as some other sites have.. so to me is working.. At least for now.. :)<br />
<br />
<br />
Anyway.. Enough of that.. Some of you know that I have spent the whole of my summer break creating and making things.. so now it's time to reveal my yummy goodies.. I have got a bit of variety, but the store is mainly focused on charms at the moment.. I have tons of them for sale..<br />
<br />
Everything you will see in my store at the moment was created by me, so you won't find it anywhere else.. :)<br />
<br />
And of course, because I LOVE Vintage Cameos, I HAD to have them in my store..<br />
<br />

<br />
Here is yet another Halloween project I have created to treat my sweet sweet husband.. <br />
<br />
Another one of my husband's favourite is Jelly Beans, so of course I had to get him some.. But there was nothing "halloweeny!" about the packaging they come in, and I wanted to create something creepy, but cute to wrap those yummy beans... <br />
<br />
I had something in particular in mind.. I really wanted a box in a shape of a coffin so that I could decorate my way.. so when I couldn't find anything like it to buy, I decided to go ahead and make my own template... And this is what it looks like when I was done...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiddYya3gxcqd_aZXrdiZLJqpYUAEmGDAF0Zz_yXqhyphenhyphenLrpZytvOdlWfEvHN-Smf7xFO3Fu1W1OfJsUcMZhAie_v5QdY3WmSgTjYGmxuP6k4e01Qpv-qIuwb5fyAVmQLe5jO5Ju88UIpdoA1/s1600/coffin_1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiddYya3gxcqd_aZXrdiZLJqpYUAEmGDAF0Zz_yXqhyphenhyphenLrpZytvOdlWfEvHN-Smf7xFO3Fu1W1OfJsUcMZhAie_v5QdY3WmSgTjYGmxuP6k4e01Qpv-qIuwb5fyAVmQLe5jO5Ju88UIpdoA1/s400/coffin_1.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I have added texture to the top part of the box and decorated it with some very inexpensive spider web and plastic spiders...</div><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4Aa94OhvpJ2-MoLgyfha2AUW-uB6bA_4W6EOr4XzKTlmK-hGfq6l_UaCFaXo1xS8X7MLH6OJhI7ofnEusvzBws-5VgPQ_vvSC5qiComdrVNhut-bdH7VPjHWXTASKTGSfbO4mbDyaKIxe/s1600/coffin_2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4Aa94OhvpJ2-MoLgyfha2AUW-uB6bA_4W6EOr4XzKTlmK-hGfq6l_UaCFaXo1xS8X7MLH6OJhI7ofnEusvzBws-5VgPQ_vvSC5qiComdrVNhut-bdH7VPjHWXTASKTGSfbO4mbDyaKIxe/s400/coffin_2.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I didn't bother do very much to the inside as I didn't feel it needed it, but if you feel differently remember that you can decorate yours however you want.. :)</div><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgK3WsJOrOxJsIFwtA_XymZDULFQlsJAYlIhr_bek1EQAMV_gUsNOvffuqgC3DmfVEQ03nWLj3AHAudEN9aQuv1QgZtqF-Xze18adPANlRPSydc9AHzPCCERnwmV4RmEa_CjsJ24Yq09Lhq/s1600/coffin_4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgK3WsJOrOxJsIFwtA_XymZDULFQlsJAYlIhr_bek1EQAMV_gUsNOvffuqgC3DmfVEQ03nWLj3AHAudEN9aQuv1QgZtqF-Xze18adPANlRPSydc9AHzPCCERnwmV4RmEa_CjsJ24Yq09Lhq/s400/coffin_4.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">Don't you just love the contrast between the dark grunge box and the colourful yummy sweets?</div><br />

</div><div style="clear: both; text-align: center;">With Halloween around the corner, it's time to get the those sweet treats ready... I don't have children, and actually no one really goes go trick or treating around the area I live, so the only person I have to think about is my husband.. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I love giving him something on Halloween, and this year is no different.. The only thing I had to do is think of creative ways to "wrap" those treats.. So I have decided to create a little box to wrap some chocolate bars I bought for him... and because I had something in mind I decided to go ahead and create a template of what I wanted to do. So here's what I've come up with...</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjR7H4IruGphf7eBIMIzSDaS9tsMGyK6LP2ApeuLHaXqGfpuP48uJZWFB9YV4lsz922HKgQNB9N53Tzi7wgfS_nYRxyLXxQngOgx6LJNhY8J75UBHyf7x9GRgfX12hKSRbVjq-VzR_O4VRN/s1600/103_66131.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjR7H4IruGphf7eBIMIzSDaS9tsMGyK6LP2ApeuLHaXqGfpuP48uJZWFB9YV4lsz922HKgQNB9N53Tzi7wgfS_nYRxyLXxQngOgx6LJNhY8J75UBHyf7x9GRgfX12hKSRbVjq-VzR_O4VRN/s400/103_66131.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">It's a pillow box which I have decorated in a Halloween theme.. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I have also added a tag so I can write a little msg...</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

It was the perfect size to fit two average sized chocolate bars.. Galaxy is one of his favourites so it was a no brainer... :) <br />

<div>You must be wondering what on earth is a Cakettes? Well... I am the host and founder of CraftsDotCupCake channel on YouTube, and to me it made sense to give my personal blog the same name...<br />
</div><div> When I was writing this post I just really wanted to show my love and affection to my subscribers and followers by giving you all a very cute and adorable nickname, and Cakettes is what I have come up with... So I hope you all like it!!!! :D</div><div> </div><div> Today is a very exciting day for me and I hope for you too, because today I have finally started my piping hot new blog. It has taken forever and a day, but I am so excited!!!! </div><div> </div><div><div> I am a shy and very private person so starting a blog was a big deal for me... BUT.. Technology is pushing us towards new ways of living and we must adapt, right? </div></div><div> </div><div> I have actually been wanting to start a blog for a long time, but everything else always got in the way.. Well.. Maybe it was just an easy excuse to postpone it, but, here I am... Writing my first post hoping that at least one person out there is going to read it.. </div><br />
<br />
<div> So please excuse me for any mistakes or flows, I am new to this and promise I will get better!! <br />
<br />
<br />
I will be sharing project ideas and some freebies very soon so stay tuned for that!!! :) <br />
<br />
<br />
Wishing you all a Fabulous day!!!!<br />
<br />
xoxo</div><div></div><div>Becca</div><br />
